A great Inter Counties for the 45’s finishing top at both stages, we finally, after a few hiccups, reached the Premier Division for the first time. We had a great strength in depth, and when Robert Forde is playing at number one, we are one rubber up before we start. The inclusion of the Over 45 Champion Neil Winward and Yousef Dar both in their first year has strengthened the squad with Mick Broomhall, John Duckworth, myself and Keith Edminson. I believe that the Premier is the right level for the 45’s and we will be pushing for a place in the National Finals next season.
