Cheshire entered three teams in the competition this year.

Under 13 team of Natasha Townley, Lucy Townley, Evie West, Mariella Kelly, Rebecca Parums and Louise Jones
Beat D&C 4/1, Beat Lancashire 3/2, Lost 4/1 to Nottingham, Beat Merseyside 5/0, Lost 5/0 to Yorkshire, Lost 3/2 to Notts.
Overall,they
came 4th. A brilliant effort. These young girls were first on court
on the Saturday
morning (8.30 a.m.), again on the Sunday morning and last off court on both
days. Sue Townley did a great
job as U13 team manager.
The Under 15 team comprised Franci Kippax, Olivia Howell, Kirsty West, Rachael Chadwick and Sarah May. (Natasha was the reserve for this squad.)
They beat D&C 5/0, Beat Merseyside A 5/0, Beat Nottingham 3/2, Beat Yorkshire 3/2, and Beat Merseyside B 5/0.
Franci and Sarah won all of their matches.
The Under 17 team of Jessica Taylor , Nichola Howell, Jenny Clements, Joanne Amison, Madeline Storey, and Jenny Law lost to Yorkshire, Lancashire and Notts. They all tried hard but of course some of these girls haven't got much experience as yet.
Many parents supported the girls, shouted for the teams and generally helped out.
